BREAKING! Kasunduan ng ABS-CBN at Religious Channel ni Bro.Eddie Gustong Imbestigahan ng Kongreso

 

 

Mukhang hindi pa tapos ang kalbaryo ng ABS-CBN dahil gusto paimbestigahan sa kongreso ang naging kasunduan ng ABS-CBN at A2Z (formerly ZOE Broadcasting Network)

Ayon kay New House Minority Leader Joseph Stephen Paduano, dapat tignan ng National Telecommunications Commission (NTC) at ng Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) ang blocktime agreement ng dalawang kumpanya. Magugunita na muling umere ang Kapamilya network noong Oktubre 10 sa tulong ng istasyon na pagmamay-ari ni Bro. Eddie Villanueva.

"There is a legal issue about it. Let’s just see what will happen there. Let the NTC do the study or investigation on that matter. Then NTC will recommend it to Congress, to the committee on franchise, and the committee will act on it. We also have the responsibility and the right to investigate it. Once you’re a commercial TV or network, you have to pay your taxes.

That’s my issue with ABS-CBN. The profits of ABS-CBN go to Big Dipper (because they are accredited by Philippine Economic Zone Authority). That’s tax evasion. There’s really an issue there. You have to pay your taxes. The BIR should check on it; and the NTC (too). If you’re a commercial entity you have to pay your taxes," sabi ni Congressmen Paduano.

Magugunita na binasura ng kongreso ang franchise application ng ABS-CBN ngayon taon dahil sa mga paglabag na kanilang natuklasan. Isa sa mga paglabag ng kumpanya na naungkat sa mababang kapulungan ay ang unfair labor practices, tax avoidance scheme, citizenship ng isa sa mga opisyal ng kumpanya, hindi maayos na pag-uulat at marami pang iba.
